Ok, time just gets away from you. I had no idea it has been since September since I wrote on the blog. Life just got a way with me as always.

Keep track of my pictures on my website. I usually update the galleries with the latest images.

For now I want to add a few of my son. He is currently serving our country in Afghanistan but was home on leave and wanted a "old time" type pictures taken of him. He has been in a rockabilly band and loves to perform. This was just fun for a mom.

April has been busy! Loved it!

Here is a few from Tarrah and Hector's wedding. It was a beautiful day, rained early but cleared up just for them. The church photographed so beautiful. The lighting was perfect. Thanks God!

Can I say I loved, loved Tarrah's dress. Cinderella had nothing on Tarrah. Her prince was pretty handsome too! Hector surprised Tarrah with a horse drawn carriage, too cool!

The food at the reception was very very good. Authentic Mexican food makes Taco Bell not look so good.

Tanaya Wilson of TC Cakes made the tastiest cake. It was beautiful too. Just in case you need a cake remember her. She is very affordable and the cake was wonderful!

Here's Jerome or Rome as he's called. What a nice guy. What a great time it was to take his portraits. Along with Rome his parents came with him. Can I just say we had such a good time. I also have a new place to take pictures thanks to Rome's dad.

This is Cherish, she is the model representative from Blue Ridge Christian School. Cherish is a wonderful gal! I've know her since she was nine. I have to say I got a little teary eyed when photographing her, I guess just the fact that she's so darn georgous and that she's grown up on me right before my very eyes. I know I'm a little sappy, but what can I say.

Behind but not forgotten

Ok, it's been a while, I think the aliens abducted me. I'm back now and have a lot to say.

In June there was another wedding that was just lovely. Very nice sweet wedding. The bride and groom were just the nicest. Very nice wedding party to photograph. Here's a few from there wedding. They both had children so there is also a picture of their blended family, a very good looking blended family I might add.

Matt and Melissa's Wedding

Can I just Wow! What a great day. Matt and Melissa's wedding was at Hillcrest Country Club in Kansas City. What a really nice facility for a Sunday afternoon wedding. The golf course looked beautiful and provided a beautiful backdrop for the portraits.

Matt and Melissa have been dating for eight years, and finally decided to tie the knot, get married, take the plunge, how every you want to say it, but.....the way they looked at each other was wonderful. It made you melt. I felt so blessed to be a part of their day.

Melissa absolutely look stunning. The really neat part of this was Melissa choose to wear her mother's wedding dress. Before you ask, no it wasn't a yellowish old musty dress..It was gorgeous. Never before has a mother's dress look like this.

And not to forget Matt. Very handsome. Firefighter,Paramedic...those guys are always good looking.

Just wanted to share a bit from this wedding. What a fun time.

2009 Senior Models Needed-ASAP

Are you a senior in high school? Do you know someone who will be graduating in 2009. I'm looking for 2009 Senior Model Representatives to share their Senior Portraits with their friends and encourage them to have Angie Johnson Photography to take their portraits.

What does Model Representatives do? You will receive your Senior Session at no cost to you a book to show your pictures, business cards with your picture on them you can also earn credit toward reprints, prizes and money. The more you share your business cards and refer Seniors to me the more you earn.

What I want out of a senior model representative. You can be a guy or a gal. But... I need someone who is outgoing, involved in clubs or sports, and not afraid to show your pictures and be able seek people out to find out if they have a photographer for their Senior Portraits. You will need to sign a model agreement stating that Angie Johnson Photography is your official senior photographer. (I realize that you will have to get your yearbook picture taken, that's no problem.)

I'm needing someone or two from: Raytown High School, Raytown South High School, All of the Lee's Summit High Schools, Hickman Mills High School, Ruskin, Any of the Kansas City High Schools , Ohara High Schools, Grandview, and any other private or public high school that is within 25 miles of Raytown. If your school is not listed, don't worry.. call anyway. 816-313-6475

FAQ?
Do I have to have any model experience? No, of course it would help but totally not necessary.

Do I have to have a perfect body? No, Beautiful, outgoing people come in all shapes and sizes but a beautiful spirit always shows through.

Can I bring a friend? You can bring a friend for your pictures, but I will not accept best friends for model representatives, because more than likely you run in the same group of people. I need people from different groups, sports, etc....If by chance your best friend is from a different school, different activities then that would be an exception.

How many model representatives will you accept? I will take one or two from each school maybe more depending on their activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to receive your portraits for free or at a reduced rate. This is also an excellent opportunity for me to get to know you and promote my photography studio in a positive way.

Richard and Tara

Saturday, my day was spent with a great bunch of people. Some guy with a "funny" accent a school teacher and a bunch of other characters that happened to be in the wedding party.

But it was way more than that. It was a loving, beautiful wedding. A bride that I never heard be stressed about anything, she was so nice to everyone (you may laugh, but that is not always the case). A groom that couldn't wait for that beautiful person to be his wife.

The ceremony was so personal from the parents messages to the bride and groom to the music that was so carefully chosen.

The rain had no damper on the great wedding and the wonderful time that was had by all.

God has a wonderful couple to call his own and I'm sure he is so happy that the two of them are together and working for him.
